I have rented the Tipu Trend indicator for 6 months. I see you mentioned in a previous post that it does not work in low volatility markets. Does this mean it is more suited to lower TF's. Could you please explain the mechanics behind how the indicator determines ranging markets as against trending, so we can understand when it does not work?

Hi Justin, thank you for buying the indicator.  I should have clarified specifically what I meant by low volatility markets.  I meant low volatility ranging market and not trending low volatility.  I use multiple confirmations to identify if the chart is not bouncing around (ranging).  If the indicator is not moving (not trending, i.e. ranging), the indicator starts marking high/low during the period.  This box auto expands if the market continues within these high/lows.  This indicator is suitable for any TF as long as you do not see boxes around ranging areas.   I recommend using Tipu Trend Dashboard (free) for multiple timeframe confirmations before entering a trade.   Please pm me I would gladly help you understand the indicator further and if you have any other questions.

how does the tipu panel work with tipu trend? Do you have any instruction manual written for it.

I've purchased some of your products and they are magnificent!

I'm combining various of your indicators on my chart. All good.

I am however struggling with the panels (HA panel, Tipu Panel and Trend Dash) on my chart. 
Whenever I flip between chars and come back to this one all the panels are on top of each other then I have to move them again each time.
Any way how I can fix this?

Hi Blessed Lady, you can free Tipu Stop Indicator here. https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/14133  As a general rule the stops should be 1-2% of the total capital risk.  For example, if you have a capital of $1000 and you are comfortable losing only 2% (or $20) of your capital per trade.  You will see where the current stop loss in pips using Tipu Stops (assuming $1 per pips).  Lets say the current stop is 50pips, you will trade 0.04 lots (50 pips = $20 if you trade 0.04 lots).  Here is the formula for the calculation.

0.1 / 50 * 1000 * 2% = 0.04

I have rented the Trend + Indicator. When I hover my mouse over the Indicator line it tells me the date and the status: Buy, Sell or NT. There is also a price in the box for that Forex pair. Where does that price come from and what does it represent?  The price doesn't seem to have any relationship to the prices in the nearby candle.

In regards to my previous post
- guessing there is a differece between a BUY signal and just a TREND COLOUR change
- can alerts be set up on colour changes alone??
For example a colour change from RANGE (Silver) to Trend Down (Red) would be helpful
- especially on one hour sharts....
- it seems the BUY and SELL signals are selctive (which they should be)
- however the colour change is critical in getting into a trade early
- i like your system - but thinking it has greater merit if the TREND COLOUR change
- is included in signal system - this would allow trader get a jumpstart on potential trade opportunity

Perhaps I am missing something ??

Hi Kaleem,

I test Tipu Trend  but found that different prices than meta trader  for any currencies I choose for

pair GBPusd on my metatrader price is 1.29115  on Tipu Trend tester  is 1.32205

After extensive testing it would be really great if the indicator can be a bit more customizable.
I've tried on many timeframes and pairs and I can see I just need to tweak to work on some...
Please consider this for next update :)
