Version 2.0 of "Volume Volatility Dashboard" has been published! 

 Here's a list of what's new:

1. The new algorithm for calculation Volume Volatility value. 
2. New timeframes added: H4, D1. 
3. From now every color in dashboard is modifiable. 
4. The number of displayed symbols is now 30 and the name of each symbol can be edited in the parameters. 
5. Added possibility of setting two unrelated Volume Volatility levels. 
6. Added title above dashboard with visible actual parameters (Volume Volatility Depth and 2 levels). 

7. Code optimization.

Hi!

I've made some tests again and below is an example of an Expert Advisor functioning.

EA is based on Volume Volatility algorithm, filtered with RSI.

Tests were done from the beginning of January 2016 on only one currency pair and timeframe: EURUSD M5.

As you can see EA gave over 600.000$ starting with only 10.000$ !!!

Maximum drawdown 26% and profit factor 3.56.

 

It's a great proof that Volume Volatility (Indicator and Dashboard) gives great signals - we only must know how to use them.

In new version you can find big improvement: RSI as a filter, which will allow to much better detection of reversals and retracements and filtration of false.

Hello sir. I have questions to ask.
1. Is this indicator using the same algorithm as Volume Volatility indicator? the only difference is this one is a Dashboard, am i right?
2. You called this as Volume volatility. What comes into mind is - Are you using volume provided with the mt4? I have some concern about that.

Thank you for providing us the ability to use this indicator in a very very reasonable price. I hope i will be satisfied and made up my mind about owning one of your indicators.

2. I'm using idea of combination of three Volume indicators (also available separately in MetaTrader 4): Accumulation/Distribution, On Balance Volume and Money Flow Index. I made A/D and OBV relative - so they are compared to their past values, because it's only way to get the meaning from them. I mean that values from these both indicators has no sense at all without comparison.

Later when I come back home I will show you screenshot with an example and you will understand everything about it :)

a/d, obv and mfi? The standard comes free with metatrader! Wow. I used so many kind of indicators before - I even used Gann HI low, Hull MA, Damiani voltameter before this but have never found any value in those three. Hope you can shade some knowledge on their strengthness (and weaknesses) if any.

Sometimes, the most efficient thing can be that what is free, but you only need to know how to use it and how to interpret it to be able to benefit from this.

I will show you something and you can judge it by yourself. 

 

 

 

These are only quick examples which I've made right now, BUT, if you want, I can make video about how I found this concept some time ago and how to interpret these 3 lines, bearing in mind that 2 lines (A/D and OBV) change its range (max and min on indicator window) as you move the chart to the left and right :) you know what I mean?

P.S. You can try to imagine that these three lines are added together (or even better: multiplied by itself). Do you see that you are getting line as RSI or something similar? There are also levels of Overbought and Oversold, but taken from changes in Volume instead of price values. On these screenshots are approximately 460 candles, so values of A/D and OBV visible on indicator window are normalized in range to max and min taken from 460 candles. Isn't it simple? I wrote Expert Advisor based on this idea and I optimized number of bars that we need to get desired results. I will publish everything for free (including Expert Advisor and settings) in a few days on my forum: https://theinvestbay.com in topic: "Volume Volatility Strategy". You are welcome. This is how result of optimization of Volume Volatility Depth (Factor) looks like:

 

As you can see on this example we need to take last 460 candles to normalization process to get lowest Drawdown.

Example was made on EURUSD M5.

I coded indicator as you can see below. It's a little similar to Volume Volatility, but it shows only extremes.

It's A/D connected with OBV and the result is filtered with MFI.

Can you explain exactly what you mean? Volume Depth and RSI are already in the system, so I understand that you mean we can add parameter: "Minimum Distance to MA" to filter out bad signals?

I'm working on new algorithm of Volume Volatility (it's also algorithm in indicator Interceptor). Soon new version of algorithm will be realeased in new version of Interceptor and then I will release also new version of Volume Volatility and I will think over your idea, because I'm already using "Min distance to MA" in my EAs (you can read about my EAs and download for free here: theinvestbay.com).

i cant test it on the Platform,   platform gets frozen !    i need only one pair on the Dash ,  with Arrows on the Chart,     so, i can choosing the best Setups.
