Good morning traders, hope everyone is starting off their week with a strong mindset!
This is how my chart looked this morning as I was preparing to spot a trade setup for the NY session:
- In the top-left corner of the chart, I’m using a powerful tool that displays the buying and selling volume for the symbol I’m trading. This gives me a clear view of market participation and helps me confirm any signal from other indicators, ensuring I stay on the right side of the market.

- At the bottom of my chart, I’m using a modified MACD histogram that highlights trend momentum. Whenever I receive a new signal from another indicator, I always cross-check it with the MACD to confirm that both are aligned.
Based on my setup, I kicked off the New York session with a great trade, guided by SMC Easy Signal. Gold consolidated for a while before showing a decisive shift in market structure, confirmed by a clear buy arrow right at the breakout level.
Thanks to confirmation from my volume indicator and the MACD, I entered with confidence, and the trade successfully hit my take-profit levels.
Keep in mind that you can use any confluence tools to confirm your trade, as long as they align with the trend. Always stick to your strategy and manage risk at 1% per trade, that’s the key to grow your capital over time.
