После скачивания триал версии файл Vates.ex5 должен оказаться в папке C/Program Files/MetaTrader 5/MQL5/Experts/Market и, конечно же, в самом терминале (см. приложенное фото vates.jpg).
Проверьте, есть ли у Вас этот файл. Если есть, все должно работать: и одиночные тесты, и оптимизация.

Time frame - whatever, it's no matter.
In order to choose the best settings, you must independently do the test for last 3 months with different pairs in the terminal of your broker and approximately with such settings (see the attached images).
You can also try choice with lot percent, drawdown percent, stop loss and trailing.
Here for example ReportTester USDJPY.zip for last 3 months.

Is this EA for netting or hedging? Testing results looks like hedging system. Can I make it netting only
I would say that this is not hedging and not netting.
EA determines the direction of the trend and oversold or overbought market and an appropriate signal opens the position to buy or sell.
Closing the position may be due to the reverse signal or stop loss or trailing.
This ea got mt4 version?

Перед публикацией советника я проверил различные варианты его работы, в том числе и вариант торговли по дням недели и часам - результат был хуже.
Поэтому этот вариант и не был задействован в алгоритме советника.

Yes, you can use this EA on micro account with fixed lot size 0.01 - 0.02 or with lot percent up to 10%. Take notice that lot = Balance * Lot Percent / 100000.
You can use this EA on cent account with increased lot size too.
