Gold Fang Indicator Trader MT5

Gold Fang Indicator Trader

Turn any arrow indicator into an automated trader.

You choose the indicator. Gold Fang reads its signals and does everything else: filters the signal, calculates the stop loss, take profit and lot, opens the trade, protects it and closes it. A clear two-column panel and tooltips on every chart mark show what the EA does and why it skipped a signal.

One EA for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Same logic, same inputs. Panel, alerts and logs in English or Russian.

Who it is for

• Beginners. Attach the EA, type the indicator name and press OK. The EA finds the buffer numbers of the indicator by itself, so you do not have to guess them. Careful defaults: small fixed lot, account drawdown protection on, grid and martingale off.
• Traders with experience. Combine up to four indicators, take the stop loss from an indicator buffer, filter by market structure and higher-timeframe trend, manage the trade with partial close, break-even, trailing, optional grid and basket limits.
• Traders who do not know how to code. No programming and no strategy writing. Every setting is a plain input with a short description.
• Traders who want to see the logic. Break of structure, change of character, swing points, day levels and every rejected signal are drawn on the chart.

What you get in five minutes

1. Copy your indicator into the Indicators folder.
2. Attach Gold Fang to the chart and enter the indicator name and the BUY/SELL buffer numbers. Do not know them? Leave auto buffers on: the EA finds them for every indicator, and the "Auto buffers" button on the panel repeats the search.
3. Pick the lot, the stop loss and the filters. Test in the Strategy Tester, then on a demo account.

No indicator yet? Leave the name empty. A simple stand-in signal (price crossing a moving average) starts so that you can see how the panel, the filters, the stops and the chart marks work. It is a simple demonstration signal, not a trading system.

What makes it different

• Auto buffers. The most common problem with indicator robots is not knowing which buffer holds the arrows. Here the EA scans the history of every indicator and picks the BUY, SELL and target buffers itself, at start and on one button at the top of the panel. The result is shown on the panel and in the log; if nothing is found, your own numbers are used. The panel can also list the values of buffers 0 to 7 on the signal bar.
• Up to four indicators that must agree. The main indicator gives the signal. Up to three more indicators confirm it by an arrow in the last bars, a filled buffer, price above or below a line, or one line above or below another. If one does not agree, the entry is skipped and the panel says which one.
• Stop loss from the indicator. If the indicator draws its own stop level in a buffer, the EA uses it. If the buffer is empty or on the wrong side of the price, the ATR stop is used.
• Market structure (Smart Money Concepts). Swing and internal structure, BOS and CHoCH by candle close. Use it as an entry filter or place the stop and target behind the structure levels.
• Honest chart. Every signal gets an arrow with the result: opened, or the exact reason it was skipped (spread, flat market, news, trading hours, structure, HTF trend, a confirming indicator, risk).
• Complete protection in one EA. News pause, spread limit, trading sessions, flat-market filter, daily trade and loss limits, account drawdown protection, margin check.

Signal sources

• Indicator buffers. Name, BUY and SELL buffer, the bar to read (closed bar by default, so signals do not repaint). Two modes: any non-empty value (arrows) or new value only (indicators that fill a buffer on every bar of a trend).
• Indicator inputs as a comma-separated list, for example 14,2.5,true. In MetaTrader 4 numbers and true/false, in MetaTrader 5 also text.
• Arrow objects on the chart, for indicators that have no buffers. Wingdings codes or the standard Buy, Sell, Up and Down arrows, with an optional name filter.
• Confirming indicators, up to three, with the same input format.

Entries and exits

• Market, limit or stop orders; unfilled pending orders expire after a set number of bars.
• Action on a new signal: reverse, close and open, ignore, or add a position up to a limit.
• Stop loss: last swing, ATR, fixed points, tighter of swing and ATR, or from the indicator buffer. Optional protection moves the stop beyond the nearest structure level and away from round numbers.
• Take profit: opposite swing, ATR, fixed points, or price levels from up to five indicator buffers. Minimum reward to risk filter.
• Partial close at indicator target levels, break-even with locked profit, trailing stop by ATR, points or behind the last swing.
• Basket profit target and basket loss limit, in money or percent.
• Optional grid with step in points, percent or ATR, order and lot limits. Off by default. It increases risk: use it only with a shared stop loss and strict limits. A panel button pauses new grid orders at any time.

Filters

• Higher-timeframe moving average trend with a neutral zone.
• Market structure trend (swing, internal or both).
• Flat market filter.
• Trading sessions (Asia, London, New York, GMT) or custom hours. The broker GMT offset is detected automatically on a live account.
• Maximum spread.
• News filter: pause before and after high-impact events of chosen currencies, optionally close positions before the news. MetaTrader 5 uses the built-in economic calendar. MetaTrader 4 uses a weekly calendar through WebRequest (the address is shown in the Experts log). News data is not available in the Strategy Tester, so the filter is skipped there.

Risk

• Fixed lot, or percent of balance, equity or free margin calculated from the stop loss distance.
• If the broker minimum lot would risk much more than planned, the trade is skipped.
• Account drawdown protection from balance or peak equity, optional stop of trading afterwards.
• Daily limits for the number of entries and for losses in a row.

Info panel

Two columns of cards: account and risk, profit for today, yesterday, the week and the month (for this EA or the whole account, your choice), open positions, a first run check that disappears when everything is set up, signal and filters, statistics of the EA trades (trades, win rate, profit factor, net result, maximum drawdown). A status line shows if the EA is active, waiting or stopped. Drag the panel anywhere by its header. Buttons: BUY, SELL, close BUY, close SELL, close all, pause the grid and martingale, pause the trailing. Five themes: dark gold, midnight blue, graphite emerald, light, and your own colors. The panel can be collapsed, placed on the left or right, and adapts to the screen scaling.

Chart marks (each one is a separate switch)

On by default: BOS and CHoCH lines, swing points HH, HL, LH, LL joined by a zigzag, day open and previous day high and low, signal arrows with the result or the skip reason. Optional: order blocks, fair value gaps, entry, stop and target lines of open trades, news and closed-hours zones, flat-market zones, Asian, London and New York sessions with their high and low (with optional color fill), the higher-timeframe moving average, round price levels, next grid levels. Every mark has a tooltip that explains it on hover.

Alerts

Popup, sound, push notification and e-mail on new signals and on trade events.

Setup

1. Copy your indicator to the MQL4\Indicators or MQL5\Indicators folder. An indicator bought on the Market is entered as Market\IndicatorName.
2. Attach the EA to the chart of the symbol and timeframe you trade and allow algorithmic trading.
3. Enter the indicator name and the BUY and SELL buffer numbers.
4. Choose the lot mode, stop loss and take profit modes and the filters. Test the settings in the Strategy Tester before trading on a live account.

Important

• The result depends on the indicator you use and on your settings. The EA does not create a profitable strategy by itself. Test every indicator and every setting in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account first.
• Trading involves risk, you can lose money. Past results do not guarantee future results.
• Use a different magic number for every chart. On netting accounts in MetaTrader 5 positions of one symbol are merged.
• Questions and suggestions: use the comments of this product. Please send the symbol, timeframe, indicator name and the Experts log lines when you describe a problem.

FullInfo MTX Pro puts the things you normally check in five different places onto the chart you already trade on. Key levels sit at the right edge of the window with their names, and a thicker line means a heavier level. Liquidity pools are marked above the highs and under the lows, next to the chance that price touches each one before the session ends. A number from 0 to 100 tells you how strong the trend is, and whether there is one at all. Fibonacci levels of the last H1 and H4 impulses are
