Automated gold trading for MetaTrader 5
Gold Capital Software SRL
Jarvis Gold Breakout is an Expert Advisor designed for gold trading on MetaTrader 5. It combines five individually selectable strategy modules, optional AI entry filtering, balance-based position sizing and two configurable trading sessions.
Users can select which strategies operate, choose a risk profile and define when new entries are permitted.
Launch price and rental option
Jarvis Gold Breakout brings strategy selection, automated order management, configurable trading sessions and percentage-based risk sizing into one trading system.
Launch purchase price: USD 1,000 for an unlimited-duration licence with 5 MQL5 Market activations.
The planned purchase price increases by USD 100 for each additional licence sold, with price adjustments applied subject to MQL5 Market’s limit of one price change per day. The price displayed on the product page at checkout is the applicable price.
Activations refer to installations on supported computer and operating-system configurations under MQL5 Market licensing rules. Using an activation already included in your purchase does not trigger an additional USD 100 charge.
Monthly rental: USD 250 for one month of use.
The rental option allows customers to evaluate Jarvis Gold Breakout on their own live or demo trading accounts during the paid rental period. Customers who need more time can obtain further rental periods through MQL5 Market. A live-account evaluation involves real financial risk.
The free Market demonstration version is available for historical testing in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. It does not provide free live-account trading.

How Jarvis Gold Breakout works
Jarvis Gold Breakout uses a breakout-oriented trading approach. It analyses historical price pivots and local price extremes to identify potential breakout entry areas, then places Buy Stop or Sell Stop orders when its entry conditions are satisfied.
The system uses multiple timeframes internally. Its strategy modules analyse H1 price pivots and evaluate entry opportunities using M5 or M15 timing, depending on the module.
Users do not need to select a specific chart timeframe to activate these internal calculations. Changing the timeframe of the chart does not change the timeframes used by the strategy modules.
The system does not use martingale position sizing or increase trade volume to recover previous losses. Position size is calculated from the selected balance-based risk percentage and the initial Stop Loss distance.
Each module can maintain several pending entry orders at different qualifying levels. These orders follow the module’s entry rules rather than a loss-recovery averaging process.
Every new trading order is submitted with a defined initial Stop Loss and Take Profit.
Once a position reaches the configured profit threshold, Jarvis Gold Breakout activates its virtual trailing profit protection. This mechanism tracks the position’s peak profit and seeks to preserve a portion of it while allowing the trade to continue.
The protection is managed internally by the Expert Advisor; it does not necessarily move the broker-side Stop Loss. MetaTrader 5 must remain running and connected for virtual protection to operate. Execution conditions can affect the final exit price and realised profit.
The five individually selectable modules are:
-
Jarvis Spark
-
Jarvis Prime
-
Jarvis Summit
-
Jarvis Flow
-
Jarvis Shadow
Each module uses its own pivot-detection settings, entry offsets, pending-order spacing and expiration rules. Order comments identify the module responsible for each entry.
These modules are different configurations within the same trading framework. Selecting several modules does not guarantee diversification or reduced drawdown.
Jarvis Gold Breakout combines defined trade exits, percentage-based sizing and profit protection to manage exposure. These mechanisms do not eliminate false breakouts, drawdowns or the possibility of substantial capital loss.
Three trading modes
No AI
Uses the strategy rules without additional AI filtering. This is the default trading mode.
AI with Recheck
Uses two embedded AI models to filter entry candidates. At the beginning of each new H1 candle, the system also reassesses unfilled pending orders and requests cancellation of orders that no longer pass the filters.
AI without Recheck
Uses the same AI models to filter entry candidates, without the periodic H1 reassessment of pending orders.
The models operate locally within MetaTrader 5. Local review logging does not automatically train or update them.
AI filtering can reduce the number of trades by rejecting certain entry candidates. Some rejected trades may have been profitable, so using AI can also reduce returns over a given period. AI filtering does not guarantee higher returns or lower drawdown.
Using No AI allows entry candidates to proceed without this additional filtering. This can produce more trades and may result in greater drawdown over some periods, including extended periods. The actual effect depends on market conditions and must be assessed through testing.
Compare all three modes using the same historical period, risk profile, strategy selection and trading costs. Review net results, maximum drawdown, trade count and performance across different market periods. Backtesting helps explain these differences but does not establish which mode will perform best in the future.
Risk profiles and minimum starting balance
Jarvis Gold Breakout calculates trade volume using the account balance, the selected risk percentage and the initial Stop Loss distance.
| Risk profile | Target risk per trade | Minimum starting balance |
|---|---|---|
| Low Risk | 1% of balance | EUR 500 |
| Medium Risk | 2% of balance | EUR 1,000 |
| High Risk | 5% of balance | EUR 2,000 |
For accounts denominated in another currency, use the equivalent amount in the account currency.
The specified setup requires account leverage of 1:500. Confirm that this leverage is available for gold under your broker’s conditions. Account leverage and the effective margin requirements for gold may differ.
These starting balances do not guarantee sufficient margin or suitable trade volume with every broker. Minimum lot sizes, contract specifications and margin requirements may require a larger balance. The current version does not automatically enforce the stated balance thresholds or the 1:500 leverage requirement.
Low Risk, targeting 1% of balance per trade, is selected by default. A maximum lot cap is also available.
The selected percentage is a position-sizing target, not a guaranteed maximum loss. Multiple open trades increase combined exposure, and execution conditions can affect realised losses. Leverage affects margin requirements; it does not limit losses to the selected risk percentage.
Strategy Tester configuration
For the initial evaluation, use the following settings in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester:
| Setting | Evaluation configuration |
|---|---|
| Trading symbol | Your broker’s gold symbol |
| Modelling mode | Every tick based on real ticks |
| Leverage | 1:500 |
| Execution delay | Fixed delay of 1,000 milliseconds |
| Historical period | A recent period of up to 12 months |
| Starting deposit | At least the minimum stated for the selected risk profile, converted to the test account currency |
| Initial risk profile | Low Risk — 1% |
| Initial trading mode | No AI |
Use your intended broker’s historical data and check the applicable commission, swap charges and contract specifications.
The 1,000-millisecond delay is a test assumption, not a promise of live execution speed. In the tester, delay applies to the Expert Advisor’s trade requests; it does not simulate a network delay when a pending order is triggered on the broker’s server.
A recent period of up to one year is the suggested starting point for evaluation. It is not sufficient on its own to establish long-term reliability. Additional tests across older periods and different market conditions can help assess the strategy’s limitations.
Historical testing does not fully reproduce live liquidity, slippage, connection interruptions or broker execution. Follow backtesting with demo-account evaluation before considering live operation.
Trading sessions and broker server time
Jarvis Gold Breakout provides two independently configurable entry sessions:
-
Session 1: 02:00–15:00.
-
Session 2: 17:00–21:00.
These are the default settings. All session times use the broker’s server clock, not the local time on the user’s computer or VPS.
Check the broker server time before configuring the sessions, including any seasonal changes to the broker’s time zone. Users in different countries must apply their schedules according to the broker’s clock.
When both sessions are enabled, entries are permitted during either interval. Users can also enable deletion of the robot’s pending orders outside the permitted sessions. Open positions remain subject to normal trade management.
The sessions control trading hours. Scheduled news avoidance is handled separately by the NFP, CPI and FOMC controls; a fixed daily schedule alone cannot exclude every important announcement.
NFP, CPI and FOMC controls
Jarvis Gold Breakout includes configurable entry pauses around three major US economic events:
-
NFP: Nonfarm Payrolls.
-
CPI: Consumer Price Index.
-
FOMC: Federal Open Market Committee announcements.
Each event has separate before-event and after-event pause settings. With the default configuration, trading during these events is disabled, and pending-order deletion during confirmed news pauses is enabled.
News controls depend on available calendar information. They do not guarantee avoidance of every announcement, unexpected event or market reaction, and they do not automatically close existing positions before an announcement.
In the current version, news filtering operates outside the Strategy Tester. Historical test results therefore do not reproduce this part of live operation.
Operating requirements
Jarvis Gold Breakout is intended for gold symbols on MetaTrader 5 and uses hedging accounts in its standard configuration.
For live operation, use a VPS running continuously, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Keep MetaTrader 5 open, connected to the trading account and permitted to perform algorithmic trading.
Continuous operation is required for virtual profit protection, session monitoring, news controls and pending-order management. Running the VPS continuously does not mean that the robot trades continuously: new entries remain subject to market availability, enabled sessions and entry conditions.
If the terminal is stopped, disconnected or unable to trade, the Expert Advisor cannot carry out its managed actions. Broker-side Stop Loss and Take Profit orders remain subject to broker execution conditions.
Stop Loss, Take Profit and profit-protection parameters are configured internally in this release.
Before live use, test the product with the intended broker’s symbol specifications, trading costs and execution conditions, then verify operation on a demo account.
Broker and account conditions
Use a trading account with low spreads and competitive commissions on gold. Assess the spread, commission, swap charges and execution slippage together when comparing total trading costs.
I personally use Fusion Markets with the Zero Account and VT Markets with the RAW ECN account. These are examples of the accounts I use, rather than a requirement to select either broker.
Raw spreads are variable and do not mean that spreads are always zero. Account conditions, leverage and availability may differ depending on the broker’s entity and your country of residence.
Before using Jarvis Gold Breakout, check the gold contract specifications, minimum lot size, commission, effective leverage and broker server time on your chosen account. Confirm that the account meets the stated setup requirements.
CFD trading risk disclaimer
Trading contracts for difference, including leveraged gold CFDs, involves substantial risk. Leverage magnifies market exposure and can accelerate losses. You may lose all of the funds committed to your trading account.
Jarvis Gold Breakout is trading software. Purchasing or renting it does not guarantee income, capital protection, recovery of losses or any particular investment outcome.
Stop Loss orders, Take Profit orders, AI filters and virtual profit protection cannot eliminate trading risk. Price gaps, slippage, liquidity conditions, technical failures and broker execution can cause results to differ from the intended exit levels or risk targets.
Backtests, demonstrations and previous trading results are not guarantees of future performance. Software and rental fees are separate from trading capital and do not limit potential trading losses.
Evaluate whether you understand leveraged CFD trading and can afford the potential losses. Use only funds you can afford to lose. The product description is provided for information about the software and does not constitute personalised investment advice.
You remain responsible for choosing the broker, account conditions, risk settings and deployment environment, and for monitoring the software’s operation.
