Systematic Gold Trading with Structured Risk Management

HEMPMEND is an automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, designed to trade GOLD using systematic market analysis, predefined execution rules, and configurable risk management.

Developed independently from a personal trading methodology with AI-assisted programming, HEMPMEND focuses on consistent rule-based execution rather than guaranteed profits or trading frequency.

1. Trading System

HEMPMEND supports four configurable trading directions: Main BUY, Main SELL, Counter BUY, and Counter SELL.

Main and Counter strategies operate under different market conditions. Eligible pending orders are managed automatically and may be placed, canceled, or reactivated as conditions change.

Position management includes Stop Loss, Take Profit, and optional T1–T4 trailing protection. These stages adjust protective Stop Loss levels rather than create separate profit targets. Positions may close at a profit or loss.

2. Risk Management

Available features include:

• Risk Per Trade: 3%, 4%, or 5%.

• Reward-to-Risk Target: 1:3 to 1:7.

• Daily Hard Limit and Dynamic Risk controls.

• ATR-based evaluations and choppy-market restrictions.

• Cooling periods and scheduled trading restrictions.

• Weekly and monthly loss-related trading breaks.

• Optional economic-news restrictions.

Multiple restrictions may apply simultaneously, resulting in periods without trading activity.

Risk parameters guide trade evaluation but cannot guarantee actual execution prices or limit losses under all market conditions.

3. Platform and Suggested Setup

HEMPMEND was evaluated using XM broker conditions.

Suggested demo evaluation environment:

• Platform: MetaTrader 5, Hedging account.

• Instrument: GOLD.

• Timeframe: M30.

• Standard account: $500–$1,000.

• Micro/Cent account: $50–$100, where supported by compatible contract specifications.

Suggested balances are not minimum capital guarantees. Trade eligibility depends on contract size, lot requirements, margin, tick value, and Stop Loss distance.

Performance and execution may differ across brokers and account configurations.

4. Testing and Rental Access

MQL5 Market Demo: The free demo version allows historical testing through MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester but cannot operate on regular demo or live trading charts.

Full Version: Currently available through a one-month rental at $39, allowing use on compatible broker demo or live accounts.

Users are free to choose whether and how long to evaluate HEMPMEND on a demo account.

An optional observation period of approximately three months may help users become more familiar with the EA's behavior and build confidence in their own assessment. This is a suggestion, not a requirement or assurance of future performance.

Users may evaluate order activity, trailing protection, trading restrictions, drawdown, and execution behavior under different market conditions.

5. Development and Performance Disclosure

HEMPMEND is in its early release and ongoing evaluation stage.

Historical backtesting and forward testing were conducted during development. Initial Micro-account live evaluation is beginning alongside the release, and no established long-term verified live track record is currently available.

Historical results do not represent guaranteed or expected future returns. Backtesting, demo trading, and live trading may produce materially different outcomes.

The product may receive updates as development and evaluation continue.

6. Operational Requirements and Risk Disclosure

HEMPMEND requires an operational MetaTrader 5 terminal, automated trading permissions, market data, and stable connectivity.

Interruptions, broker restrictions, market conditions, or software issues may affect order execution and automated position management.

Leveraged GOLD trading involves substantial financial risk, including the possible loss of deposited funds. Stop Loss, trailing protection, and trading restrictions cannot eliminate these risks.

Users remain responsible for broker compatibility, risk configuration, and account monitoring. Product support is available through MQL5 communication facilities.
