ReactiveFX is an automated trading system specially designed for XAUUSD (Gold).
I built it with one simple idea in mind: don't take every market movement. Wait for multiple conditions to line up before trading.
Instead of relying on a single indicator or a basic buy/sell signal, ReactiveFX uses several layers of market filtering to help avoid lower-quality situations.

📊 Multi-Timeframe Trend Filtering
The EA checks the broader market direction across higher timeframes before allowing new trades. This helps keep the system aligned with the larger Gold trend.
💪 Trend Strength Filter
ReactiveFX evaluates whether the current market has enough directional strength before committing to a trading direction.
🌪️ Volatility Filter
Gold can become extremely aggressive during volatility expansions. The EA monitors market volatility and can avoid entering when conditions become unsuitable.
🚀 Momentum Filter
The system also evaluates recent price movement to distinguish between normal market conditions and potentially excessive momentum.
📰 XAUUSD News Protection
One of the most important features is the built-in high-impact USD news filter.
The EA can automatically recognize high-impact economic events and temporarily prevent new entries around the news window.
This is particularly useful for Gold because major USD events can create very fast movements and unpredictable spreads.
🎯 Dynamic Profit Management
Profit targets aren't necessarily treated as completely static. The EA can adapt its basket-management behavior according to current market conditions such as volatility, momentum and volume activity.

Rather than looking at every position completely independently, ReactiveFX manages the overall trading basket. The objective is to close the basket when the combined result reaches its target rather than depending on one individual trade.

ReactiveFX was developed with XAUUSD in mind. Gold behaves very differently from major Forex pairs, especially around USD news, volatility expansions and strong directional moves.

ReactiveFX is not designed to trade every movement in Gold. It waits for multiple market conditions to align, filters volatility and momentum, checks the broader trend, and uses dedicated XAUUSD news protection before looking for opportunities.
Designed primarily for XAUUSD (Gold).
ReactiveFX uses multiple layers of market filtering, risk management and basket management. Most users should start with the default settings and adjust only the risk-related parameters.
1. General Settings

| UseInvertedSignal | Reverses the normal trading direction. False is recommended for normal use. |
| LockDirectionOnFirst | Keeps the EA focused on the initial trading direction while a trading cycle is active. |
| MagicNumber | Unique ID used by the EA to identify its own trades. Keep it unique if running multiple instances. |
| MaxPositions | Maximum number of positions during the normal trading cycle. Higher values increase exposure. |
| MinGapPoints | Minimum market separation required before a new opportunity is considered. |
Recommended: Leave these at default unless you understand the effect of changing them.
2. Lot Management

10. Stop Loss

Important: Do not increase the lot size, position limits, or recovery settings simply because a backtest produced good results. Gold can experience rapid volatility and live drawdown can differ substantially from historical testing.
