Easy-to-Read and Easy-to-Use Entry Indicator — How to Interpret It
This indicator identifies Wyckoff-based reversal entry points. Instead of triggering on every breakout, it waits for the classic trap and only signals after confirmation. For this reason, it is selective and generates relatively few signals.
What it looks for:
Buy (Spring): The price breaks below a previous low but closes back above that level and above the previous close, confirming that the downside breakout has failed. The green arrow appears when this is also accompanied by exhaustion—declining volume compared with the previous signal—low RSI and momentum divergence.
Sell (Upthrust/UTAD): The price breaks above a previous high but closes back below it, confirming that the upside breakout has failed. The red arrow appears using the same logic in reverse: declining volume, high RSI and momentum divergence.
Filters that make it selective:
- Volume quality (relative VDI): Signals are validated only when volume is within the continuation range or shows a genuine spike.
- Minimum spacing between signals and daily reset: Prevents repeated signals during the same price movement.
- Trading-time window (until 4:00 p.m.): Avoids signals near the end of the trading session.
How to use it:
The arrow indicates the location and direction of a higher-conviction entry. Confirm the signal using the broader market context—market structure, VWAP and trend—and manage the exit according to your own targets.
This is a selective, confirmation-based entry trigger—not a complete automated trading system.
Best performance on 5-minute charts.
