Yes, it's based on the levels of the previous day. So, the blue/red zone stays the whole trading day. However when the day range reaches 50% of ATR the zone based on the current day levels is drawn in gray color. This zone will change throughout the day because the levels are not yet fixed.

Version 1.4 is not as user-friendly as version 1.3. The daily trading area and targets should not have been removed in version 1.4; this could be kept as an optional feature to be checked, as it serves the purpose of technical completeness. Furthermore, the blue rectangular banner on the left should not be increased; this banner obstructs the visual on the chart and is unnecessary. These are my insights on the user experience. Thank you very much for providing it freely; it is indeed an excellent indicator, and I would like to thank you once again!

I upgraded the indicator with two extra settings (for removing the banner & always display of the zone of today).

(The XAUUSD charts of today and the previous days look magnificent - three hit in a row!).
