For DELTA (BUY) and GAMMA (SELL) modules there is a TP setin each level, and using TP follow makes the automation simple for closing all orders at the same point (time)
DELTA and GAMMA modules dont have SL values set for each level due to the complications that might rise because DELTA and GAMMA modules place limit orders. But both Stop Loss and additional Take Profit values can be set on a modular scale. This means that SL and TP are set as a total (amount or percentage) for each module. In the paid version of AvA 8 you have trailing stop for this feature in addition.

For PathFInder, which is a more simpler trading module it has both TP and SL settings for its positions.

Optionally you then have the EQUALIZER module in AvA 8 that manages risk and has other exit options.

Thank you. I am reading the manual, trying to understand the mechanisms. Besides Bitcoin and gold, are there any recommended currencies? What timelines work best?

We don't specifically recommend any pair over the other, the trading system works without limits in regards to currency pairs. We use BTC/USD at ICM SEYCHELLES because they deliver excellent prices  and conditions for trading that pair, compared to other brokers. Plus trading BTC/USD is open for weekend trading at ICM SEYCHELLES .

The same goes for timeframes, its different depending on which trading modules are applied. If using PathFinder for example, then possibly 5 minutes are better then 1 minute with some of the filters like ADX or PSAR. That actually doesn't mean the 1 minute timeframe is bad when using the filters. We do use a lot of XAU/USD and BTC/USD when testing new functionalities because the movements are favorable due to their active nature.

When using GAMMA and DELTA modules, we prefer using PSAR for filtering. We are also adding a new type of PSAR filter for this purpose and that is the "PSAR directional filter" used with OnTick method. This filter is more active since it allows the modules to immediately start another cycle when one closes while PSAR direction matches the module's direction.

As you might have noticed on the available settings and filters, is that we offer multiple ways for the user to adjust and filter trade initiations and closing of cycles in GAMMA and DELTA for example. We offer this so that you, the user, can adjust the system to create your own strategy. This is why we bring AvA 8 with such transparency rather then trying to mystifying it.

We will of course be providing with SET files that you can use, so you don't have to spend much time or effort on this. But the option is there, and that is why we keep it transparent.

I have updated this post which has access to teh SET file library. It only counts 3 SET files at the moment but its growing.
First file D1001-REV001 is the first file I provided (AVA BAS 1001SYS) I replaced it.

Let me explain why I keep the first SET files so simple. It's done to enable you to grow in you knowledge about our system, try and learn as you go.
Ask questions, all questions are important and relevant,

The naming method of our SET files is simple when you understand it and its easier to keep them like this for organizing.
D  is for the category of our EA AvA 8, the number 1001, 1002 etc. is for identifying the strategy (naming) and then REV001 stands for Revision number, any changes to this strategy will get a new revision number.

For you, the user, you have the option of changing the name in the input parameters to any name you like and then saving it like that. In fact we urge you to try and test as many ideas and combinations as you can think of.
