Python Developer Needed for MT4 Drawdown Analysis Tool

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with experience in finance and trading software development, specifically with expertise in MetaTrader 4 (MT4). The project involves creating a Python script that connects to an MT4 account to extract historic trades and graphically present historical drawdown data (got from third party data) on < 15 min timeframe.

Project Objectives:

• Develop a Python script that interfaces with MT4 to access account data.
• Extract historical drawdown data effectively and accurately.
• Generate a clear and interactive graph that visualizes the drawdown over a specified time period.
• Ensure the tool is user-friendly and can handle different MT4 account credentials securely.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements.
• Communicate regularly with project management to deliver within the agreed timeline.
• Provide documentation and setup instructions for the script.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Python, particularly in data handling and visualization (Pandas, Matplotlib/Plotly).
