Metatrader on ubuntu

hi i have read some articles on how to run metatrader on ubuntu using wine. i tried it the previous day but metatrader is crashing on opening, i am not sure if this is because opening the mail box or something else are there anyone still using/trading with metatrader on ubuntu or any linux flavor

failed to connect to my mt4 terminal - Signal provider

Hi I have created a signal. I gave my mt4 username and password but the its not connected to the terminal. Its saying "failed to connect". Has anyone faced the problem? I am using hot forex MT4 terminal and i selected HOTfx4-Demo as the server
