This is another version of moving average. In this case values are calculated not just by a price but by increasing price step: dynamic (by default) or constant. A smoothed price channel, parameters of which can also be adjusted, is used for changing direction of the straight line. This type of the straight line can be used as a trend pointer or a support/resistance level. Divide values of the first two parameters by 10, if you trade yens or metals.
