Added topic Can a trader be successful by only using either technical analysis or fundamental analysis?
I have just read a book saying that a professional trader should know and use both types of analysis. Is there any successful trader here utilizing only technical analysis ? or fundamental analysis? Do you have any reason for applying only one

Certainly, a trader can be successful using only fundamental or technical analysis or both. I apply technical analysis because many brokers panic and go against newstrader during news releases.
