Mechanical engineer with 25 years of experience in manufacturing and production, now an independent developer of trading tools for MetaTrader 5.

I am a trader myself, and I build the tools I need in my own trading. That is why I know what a manual trader really needs: fixed risk on every trade, the right lot size in seconds, and fast trade management without extra windows.

My tools do not trade by themselves and do not promise profits. They help you follow your own plan.

Stop Target Position Planner is a free tool for MetaTrader 5, like the risk/reward tool on TradingView. Click your entry, then click your stop loss. The tool draws the stop, the entry and as many take-profit levels as you want, in multiples of R, with pips and R on every line. You set everything from a small panel on the chart: number of targets, colours and line styles. Each tool is its own object: select it, resize it, move it or delete it. You can keep as many on the chart as you want. Free

Hello,

Thank you for your work on this expert advisor. I am experiencing a problem with the risk calculation that I hope you can address.

I trade on the Dow Jones US30 symbol with a $5,000 account balance, typically using the 5-minute and 1-minute time frames. I have set the default risk to 0.5% of my account per trade in the settings menu, changing it from the default 2%, and saved this configuration.

However, when I attempt to set a buy or sell position, the problem arises. After clicking the button to set a position, three lines for entry, stop-loss, and take-profit appear on the chart. Initially, the stop-loss is set at a default location, and the lot size is correctly calculated based on the 0.5% risk, as expected.

The issue occurs when I adjust the stop-loss line before confirming the position. The risk percentage displayed begins to change, which should not happen. Instead, the lot size should automatically adjust to maintain the specified 0.5% risk level, based on the new stop-loss location. This discrepancy interferes with the expert advisor's primary function, and I have not encountered this issue with other expert advisors.

Could you please investigate this issue and provide a solution? I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

Thank you!

Best regards,
