critical error !

hi members ! my problem is that i copied over mt4 from my windows vista laptop to my new windows seven laptop. I get critical error warning msg when running strategy tester and in the text it still thinks it is running on vista, even after i uninstalled and reinstalled many times. any advice

mt4 as a startup program ?

hello wonderful people ! is it possible to make mt4 a startup program? as under msconfig it does not come up under standard settings. if so how ? my problem is my VPS , sometimes it reboots without notice and potentially could leave me hanging with open positions whilst i am having beauty sleep

correct procedure to import external data into mt4

so... i untick the snychronise with data centre option i empty the data in history centre, import my M1 data, then use the period converter to update the other Periodicities. however, it still updates prices, even though i unticked the data centre sync box, although i am quite sure it does not

hi, so the recurring problem of being limited to bad broker tick data. i want to upload into my mt4 platform reliable tick data. anyone recommend a decent low cost provider ? i have access at work to bloomberg, however it is only limited to 6 months ! thanks
