Last week, investors went through yet another tumultuous period in the markets, primarily due to the long-awaited Federal Reserve rate announcement and additional rate hikes from two other central banks. Though all three rate announcements aligned with expectations, it was the preceding unrest in the banking sector that caused most of the market volatility.
