Friday taught me things again( even after 30 years of trading)


Moving away from the hedge model is not a good idea.


In one way markets like today, all one way, martingale or recovery type EAs can lose everything you've earned for months


Its just too hard guessing a direction even if you are right ( I ve been negative on the euro for quite some time ) its not easy slippage large spreads, orders taking the time to get executed.


At the end of the day the account that did best today for me just hadBBSO and BBNN with their normal stops


and I try and try to find different ways, still... Why fix things when they are not broken?

Risk my friends is what it is about. You have to change your way of thinking. If you are happy with a 3 percent drawdown and 4percent growth, so be it.

i don t quite understand why one would want robots that trade at night sometimes when you have so many pairs trending and ranging 24/ 5 ....even in flat markets . To each their own....
