How to Cap RAM Usage in MT5?

When doing optimization backtests in MT5 it uses all of my available RAM and basically freezes my PC until the test is finished. sometimes resulting in complete crashing. Is it possible to set a cap/limit on the amount of RAM MT5 can use when doing a backtest either in windows or in MT5 itself

How is leverage applied/trade size determined?

If you have a $10,000 balance 1:100 demo account with a risk percentage input in you EA, and if you input say 10% then is the trade size $1000 when your first trade is found or is the 1:100 leverage automatically applied so the trade size becomes 100,000 (1lot)? Any info helps thanks

Is the Bid V Ask difference shown here when you "request ticks" from a custom symbols CSV file an accurate representation of the spread paid for each trade taken during a backtest? In other words is this difference showing that I would have paid (highlighted in blue) 2.5 pips for a trade taken at

MT5 Optimization RAM

When running small optimization tests in MT5 my 24GB of ram all gets used up, and my disk usage on my ssd also sits at 100%. Would adding another 16GB of ram speed up the optimization tests somewhat significantly? My cpu only sits at around 30% usage so I don't think MT5 is being limited by that. A
