MetaTrader siezes up

Hello: What do I do if MetaTrader siezes up, after I had been trying to start strategy testing , I only run an EA on a demo account. It had never had a problem until I recently did the strategy testing that I'm certainly a novice at. Any help would be appreciated. thanks, John
