Use a terminal on home PC to view a terminal on a VPS.

Can i use a terminal on my home pc to loginto a terminal on a vps that is in a foreign country / not on the same pc or network ? It seems as though i have done this before but don`t remember how to do it...Could it be i need to install another terminal in the same directory on my home PC

I have a problem getting ex.4 files to be copied to a chart. I can get them in the experts folder etc. but they wont copy to a chart. I have a Windows XP box that has no problem with ex.4 files, does anybody else have this problem? Can anyone recommend a Windos OS that does not have this problem &
