Recently, many friends are very interested in my trading strategy. It is the Chinese New Year 2025 holiday, so I have some free time to explain it to you here.
The signal you follow, with a total position of 2,000 US dollars, is actually composed of 10 separate EAs, each with a position of 200 US dollars. If they are triggered by the trading signal at the same time, they will use the entire 2,000 US dollar position. In fact, they are allies. Every time a trading signal is triggered, at most 6-7 EAs will be triggered successively, which actually only occupies 1,200-1,400 US dollars of positions. The remaining 600-800 US dollars of untraded positions are used to ensure overall resilience and security.
All quantitative strategies or algorithmic strategies are the embodiment of mathematical models. If the EA with a position of 200 is expanded by any multiple to trade in the market, it is also valid. So my signal can actually be called a screening signal. I will use three servers in the data center to backtest the latest tick data every month, and replace the EAs that are not ideal in the 10 EAs in the signal with the latest EA to ensure that the EA in the ForexTradeHelper signal is always in the best state. Because no strategy can be used for a lifetime, we must add fresh blood every month and eliminate old strategies. We must keep up with the times.
The following EA backtest chart is what many friends want to know. We started from January 2015 to January 25, 2025. The new EA is backtested based on 10 years of EURUSD data, and considering all the events (black swan events) since Brexit, what will the future be like? This is what many friends are concerned about. I can only say that "the future is unknown". As a technician, we cannot guarantee any details, nor can we attract customers by bragging. What we can do is to do a good job of "pre-prevention, in-process supervision, and post-event backtracking" like CyberSecurity, and use this principle to ensure that EA is in a virtuous cycle.
This EA shows the application of our overall 10-year strategy. The principal of 2,000 US dollars is calculated by "simple interest" to the profit after 10 years. If it is "compound interest" (re-trading with profit + principal every year), it will be very interesting! Aha!
