How to trigger EA's OnTick() or Start() on offline chart?

Hi, everyone - happy new year! Is it possible to trigger the OnTick() or Start() function of a EA - if I put this EA on an offline chart? Seems it will not trigger. Is there any workaround that can make it trigger OnTick() / Start()? Thanks a lot

How to create a simple offline chart?

How to backtest Silver (XAGUSD) in MT4? keeps saying no history data

Hi I am backtesting a EA on Silver vs USD. So I downloaded the history data in the menu Tools -> history center and download XAGUSD M1 data. Then i start strategy tester, i set the symbol to Silver and start the test, However, MT4 always says : No History data Silver1. What i did wrong here ? Thank

EA to measure historical Volatility?

Hi Does anyone know if there is any EA we can use in strategy tester to measure the currency pair's volatility? Say, i back test this ea using data from 2010 - 2011 and then compare with the result of 2011-2012 and i can see the volatility has increased. Or is there such a website that i can check
