If I trade manually, what magic number does MT4 use?
EA can use a magic number to distinguish its own trades from others. What if I manually open a trade, which magic number does MT4 platform use? The reason I'm asking is, I'd like to hide my EA generated trades from brokers, so they cannot tell if it's a manual trade or automated trade. I know I have

I wonder if my EA did not see every price tick that MT4 has received, therefore missing some trading opportunities. So I wrote a test program which adds up the price ticks and calculates highs and lows in the previous time period on chart. As I suspected, it did not see every price tick since the

It will be better if you only post your results when you struck gold with real live accounts. Based on my experience, any golden back tests and even demo tests could easily fall apart when it comes to live test. This is because brokers with dealing desk or banks on ECN accept orders and close orders
Live Update failed to upgrade build 220 to 221, on Windows Vista.
It seems live update has a problem with Vista. Vista asked me for administrative permission when live update started. I allowed. But the download never started. It seems it's Vista only and XP is OK. Does anyone have solution? I'm now stuck with build 220. Please help. Thanks

I have no connection to demo server AlpariUS-Demo for hours (as of March 5, 05:30GMT), even after I tried "rescan servers". Does anyone else have the same problem? Thanks
