Trading off the policy wonks!

We experienced a little bounce in the USD and if Bernanke doesn't shock us, we may be pippin' later on today when the NY session is is full gear. As much as I like charting/technical analysis - I'm never opposed to making a buck, jappy, cable, etc. off of these policy wonks and their diatribes

Commodity currencies vs USD

The Dollar fell across the board, slightly against the majors but plummeted against currencies tied to commodities. Equities rose sharply in Europe and in the US - adding weakness to the USD. USD short term/long term view

Long term, I'm still bullish on the dollar. Non Farm payrolls came in lower than expected - although US the jobless rate hit a 26 year high. All of us traders need to be aware that the commodity dollars are still beating up on the USD short term. Risk appetite is outpacing technical/fundamental
