My name is Kelvin Kaambi. I've spent four years trading systematic mechanical strategies, and the past year automating them for MetaTrader 5, with a focus on XAUUSD. Trading a mechanical system by hand teaches you things a backtest never will: where the rules break down, how execution actually behaves under pressure, and how much of an edge gets eaten by real spreads and real slippage. Everything I automate now starts from that experience. I'm drawn to grid and breakout systems in particular. My approach is simple. A strategy is only worth releasing if it survives testing designed to break it. Every system I publish goes through in-sample optimization, out-of-sample validation, walk-forward analysis, Monte Carlo simulation and execution stress testing, followed by live demo incubation on data it has never seen. Most ideas don't make it that far. The ones that do are the ones I publish. I'm happy to answer questions about setup, settings, or the reasoning behind any part of a system.
