We’re excited to share that Forex Trend Hunter has been upgraded to trade gold!
You can now use it also on the following gold pairs: XAUUSD, XAUEUR, and XAUAUD. To make things easier, we’ve prepared three dedicated .set files, one for each supported pair. These are available for download on our blog—check the product description for full details.

In this update, we’ve also fixed a minor issue related to the NFA parameter. We recommend updating to the latest version as soon as possible to ensure smooth performance.

The latest version of Forex Trend Hunter (v5.7) includes a comprehensive set of drawdown protection features designed to enhance risk management. The following safeguards have been integrated:

- Maximum Open Lots
- Maximum Daily Loss (in currency)
- Maximum Daily Drawdown (in %)
- Minimum Equity (in currency)
- Maximum Equity (in currency)
- Maximum Equity Drawdown (in %)

These protection parameters can be customized directly from the EA input settings. By default, all values are set to 0.00, which means the protections are disabled until configured.

These features are especially useful for traders using prop firm accounts (such as FTMO or other funded programs) that enforce strict drawdown limits.

Ultimately, each trader should evaluate whether to enable these protections and choose the values that best align with their trading goals and risk tolerance.

I have added a new parameter called No_Concurrent_Trades. In case you want to trade on all supported pairs at the same time i strongly recommend you to set No_Concurrent_Trades=true. This will disable concurrent trading on all pairs and the EA will trade only on one pair at a time. This will reduce the risk for the account.

I have optimized Forex Trend Hunter, i have added some additional parameters for the core logic, i have added advanced time management system.
