Hello Nikolaos,
Thank You for sharing this EA, can you please give some more details about the "Close In Profit Mode"-
Ticket_Orders, Basket_Orders and Hybrid_Mode, and also the Calc_Single_Unit and Calc_Full_Unit.
Best Regards and Happy Trading !!!
How to limit orders for the day
Hi Nikolaos, nice EA, thank you. What do the parameters Calc_Single_Unit and Calc_Full_Unit mean in the profit/loss calculation?
Many thanks!

Hello,
Single Unit = calculate pips by 1 (example 10 pips value X 1 = 10 pips for close orders).
Full Unit = calculate pips by total opened orders (example 10 pips value X 7 opened orders = 70 pips for close orders).
Best Regards.

Thanks so much Nikoloas.
While I am here (and hopefully of use to others), could you explain the three options in 'close in profit mode'?
* Ticket_Orders
* Basket_Orders
* Hybrid_Mode
Most helpful, thank you.

Hello,
Ticket : Closes buy orders separately from those sells.
Basket : Closes together buy and sell as basket.
Hybrid : Some times workin as 'Ticket' and some times as 'Basket'.
If the last order is buying type and the sell orders are in profit, then closes sell orders, and versa.
Otherwise it closes them all like a basket.

Dear Nikolaos,
I noticed when running two positive grids (buy and sell) and exponential lots that trades stopped being made as the price fluctuated - see attached. I wondered if you might help me understand this as I have set "continue with signal and time" and new trades should be happening.
Many thanks,
Jake

I'm sorry but I do not have time to focus on each user individually.
The product is free and you can do your tests to better understand its functions.

No problem. I thought it might be a bug.

Maybe the issue is the balance (free margin) of your account.
I can't check expert via a screenshot, I need .log file and your settings.
Hi Nikolaos, Any chance you could make a version of GridSystemEA for MT4 ?
Hello,
I am also thinking of making a version for MT4.
Stay tunned!
Look forward to it and thanks for fast response!
Done!

Hello Nikolaos,
You are a logical coder. Can you please help me convert an existing MT4 EA designed by me for use by retirees or risk-averse traders for part-time income to compensate for the loss of income from Saving Bank or fixed deposit interest accounts?
The main problem is that no futures platform accepts the MT4 platform as regulated exchanges don't recognise MT4. Regulated exchanges like CME and Eurex allow the use of MT5 platform by brokers.
Will you please help me convert my mql4 into an mql5 EA so that it can be used on MT5 platforms? I will email you the mql4 once you confirm.
It is a simple Grid EA for pending orders. The focus is on manual planning of trades and not on generating any signal for engtry. The EA is to be used mainly as an execution tool for automated trading of pending orders.
I will pay you a donation for your efforts. The EA is for the use of index futures trading. It is not a commercial product and our academy is free for retirees.

Please send me your MT4 file via email (nikolaospantzos@gmail.com) to convert it.
(I hope it's not some huge code.)
