Hi,
Can someone tell me if this indicator is based on real volume or tick volume? Thanks.

There's no real volume in MT4.
The volume provided in MT4 is a ticks count.
Hi,
Is it possible to make an option for the user to chose which index (candle) to start. The live update (i.e. index 0) is limiting its use.

Not sure to understand. You have historical. Not only the real time.
Okay,
What I mean is this, the smaller timeframes of the FFx_Volumes indicator (e.g. FFx_Volumes 1 min and 5min bars) can be used to check market activity on larger higher timeframe charts e.g. 1H charts. For example, I can use the 5Min FFx_Volumes indicator to check the distribution of market activity at the 2nd candle (index 1) on a 1H chart. By that, I can see how many buyers are trapped at the top of a sell candle or how many sellers are trapped at the bottom of a buy candle.
If the FFx_volumes indicator is constantly repainting in real time, information that would be displayed on the 5Min volume would be that of 1H candle_index0 and not 1H candle_index1. Because the bars would be continuously shifting after every 5 min, so you won't be able to see market activity that occurred on 1H candle_index1 on the FFx_volumes 5Min.

I see ... I have no plan currently to upgrade this indicator ... Will put it on my ToDo list in case of future release.
