Other products of the author

Unlike other systems and products for sale on the Market, this one is not over-optimized and does not show 100% winning, risk-free and loss-free operations. That simply doesn't exist. If you compare the backtests with the live signals of those products you will understand what I am talking about. The behavior of this EA is 100% real (see my Signals).

This system does not use martingale. Martingale means doubling the lots at each step of the grid or in the event of a loss, but this is not what this EA does. This EA makes a smooth grid without duplicating lots (risk).

Among its options is a system that closes all operations when a certain DD level is reached (if you activate it), and an anti-negative closing system through Swaps and StopOut.

The EA works simultaneously with 6 currency pairs on a single chart and window (AUDUSD, EURAUD, EURGBP, EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDCAD). It is important to understand this, because if you place the EA in multiple windows, the EA will duplicate trades.

It is also important that you have AUDUSD, EURAUD, EURGBP, EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDCAD in the 'Market Watch' list.

All sets are built into the EA and there is no need for the developer to share any *.set files with you. It is also not necessary to use a specific TF (TimeFrame) for the EA to work correctly in the strategy tester or in real trading. The TF's of the different strategies are integrated into the EA.

Minimum requirements and recommendations

Broker: Any broker with a low spread. Test in the strategy tester. There is usually a lot of difference between brokers due to Spread, Swaps and the quality of the broker's data. I recommend IC Markets or RoboForex.
Recommended initial deposit: $1000 in accounts with 500:1 leverage.
Account type: Coverage.
Use a VPS so that the EA works 24/7 (Mandatory).

After using this EA for 1 month at a live account, with moderate risk settings, the profit is 10%. Eventually large DD moments will happen, but so far it works very well. Also very good communication and support from the author.

Review UPDATE: 11 months and 11 days after starting Tsunami at a Real account the value of the account doubled!

This was achieved without high risk or dangerous drawdowns.

After having backtested the EA on different brokers with 99-100% quality tick data, followed by demo trading, and since a while now being live at 2 brokers, I confirm this is a 5* product, as well as the service by author is. The demo/live trade statistics coincide with backtesting. Next to the broker's data, which remain sometimes a bit unclear in terms of reliablity, I used exported Tickstory Dukascopy data for more reliable testing, too. The only shortcoming I have already communicated about is that the author gives no chance to evaulate the EAs prior to 2016, as the EA is programmed to not trade prior to that date. It would just be nice to know how much the risk can go up if unfavourable market turbulences occur and the EA adds unsually high numbers of trades. Traders might want to keep in mind that the DD of averaging concepts increase via exponential law. In case of contant lot size and trades spaced at same price distance still with the square of the number of trades (n) as per the famous Gauss' formula to count numbers from 1 to 100: DD=price difference between 2 trades * n/2 * (n+1). Example: 5 trades give a DD of 2.5*6=15 times larger than if there is only 1 trade being in loss just by by the price spacing. With 8 trades, you get already 36 times, with 10 you get 55 times. So I recommend to test the allowable lot size related to your money carefully and don't risk too much even you get happy about the constant stream of won trade cycles - see the EA as an investment tool for steady income.

EDIT Nov 30th, 2020: What I like about PS Tsunami EA MT5, it is simple safe. For sure you cannot get millionaire overnight with it, but you also will not lose your money. Indeed, the EA provides a fairly steady asset growth without any troubles.

I have tested this EA in strategy tester before buying. I then put it live in a demo account before my real account. In all cases i have been happy with the trading results and also with any communication from the author. He has been very helpful back testing and finding the right settings for my risk profile. I would recommend you look into this high quality EA.

- Money management has been added based on my recommendation (low, very low, medium, medium-high risk, etc).

- The Panel and the filter to pause the EA during the Christmas/New Year holidays are now by default 'ON'.

- Recommendation: Test at your broker using real ticks. At each broker/account type the result may be different due to spreads, swaps, etc. Make your own tests and determine which pairs and which risk management is best for you. Always keep in mind the nature of a grid system. In itself it is a dangerous system in the sense that you cannot "step on the gas" too much, you have to let it run smoothly and just let the exponential factor do the rest. You should always take into account and be prepared to have a DD double the one you have in the strategy tester due to some extraordinary event, i.e. if you "step on the gas" and determine that the strategy tester has 50% DD, maybe at some point it can reach 100% and explode your account. Extraordinary events usually happen at least once a year. Be prudent. All of us who have been with this EA for years and are still using it, it is because we have understood this and have been patient enough to let it work all this time. If you need to double your account every month, this is not the EA for you.

- New function 'Negative Balance Protection (StopOut)'. If this function is ON, the EA will close all trades managed by the EA. That is, it will not take over manual trades or trades of other EAs. Please take this into account in order to correctly manage the money management of the account. This new feature is intended to avoid having a negative balance with your broker. Most brokers have negative balance protection and they offset the debt you acquire with them, but since all brokers do not offer this, it never hurts to be responsible and voluntarily close trades before such a debt is generated (which your broker may claim from you).
