KFX Moving Average

The KFX Moving Average is an trend following or lagging indicator because it is based on past prices. The most common applications of MAs are to identify the trend direction and to determine support and resistance levels. While MAs are useful enough on their own, they also form the basis for other indicators.

In addition, the indicator has a trade plotter function. I find this function very helpful to have the traded positions better in the overview and to learn from perhaps made mistakes. So you can go through exactly why a trade was opened. The trade plotter shows the entry point and the exit point.

All variables are adjustable, the indicator is suitable for beginners up to professional. Professional can easily adjust the indicator to their usual trading setup.

I used the Indicator in the Timeframes from M15-H1

Indicator

The indicator shows the trend in the histogram style. It changes the color when the middle line is broken and a new candle is opened. The indicator has a special feature besides the trade plotter. The colors of the histogram match the preset colors of the bars.

How to use the Indicator to analyse the Chart

A rising MA indicates that the security is in an uptrend, while a declining MA indicates that it is in a downtrend.

Pullbacks are always to find when the price respect the middle line and returns to the previous trend.
