Prop Challenge Guardian

Prop Challenge Guardian watches your whole account and closes everything before a prop-firm rule is broken.

Most challenges are not lost because of a bad strategy, but because of one bad day: a daily loss limit exceeded by a few dollars, a trailing drawdown that moved without you noticing, or one trade too many after a losing streak. Prop Challenge Guardian enforces your rules automatically, every second, on every symbol.

It works with any strategy: your own EAs, other EAs, copy trading and manual trades. Attach it to one chart and it protects the entire account.

READABLE AT A GLANCE

• A traffic-light banner: SAFE TO TRADE (green), CAREFUL (orange), TRADING STOPPED (red), TARGET REACHED (gold).
• Two simple gauges: how much you can still lose today, and how much you can still lose in total. No manual needed.

MAIN FEATURES

• Daily loss limit: closes all positions and blocks trading until the next day. Measured from the start-of-day balance, or from the higher of balance and equity. Adjustable reset hour.
• Max loss: static (from initial balance) or trailing (on highest equity or highest closed balance). Optional: the trailing floor stops at the initial balance, as used by several instant-funding programs.
• Profit target lock: when your target is reached, all positions are closed and the gain is secured.
• Safety buffer: acts before the real limit to absorb slippage and fast moves.
• Max trades per day and max open positions: extra trades are closed immediately.
• Stop-loss control: alert or close positions opened without a stop loss, or risking more than X% of the balance.
• Friday close: closes everything at a chosen time and blocks weekend holding.
• Early warnings: pop-up and push notifications when a limit gets close.
• Restart-safe: initial balance, daily base, equity peak and locks are kept after a terminal or VPS restart.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Attach Prop Challenge Guardian to any chart of the account (one instance per account).
2. Enter your prop firm's rules in the inputs (see the typical settings below).
3. Keep Algo Trading enabled. The Guardian checks equity on every tick and every second.
4. When a limit is reached, it closes all positions, deletes pending orders and closes any new trade until the lock ends.

TYPICAL SETTINGS (always check your prop firm's exact rules)

• 2-step challenge, 5% daily / 10% max: Max daily loss % = 5, Max total loss % = 10, Max loss type = Static (from initial balance).
• Instant funding, 6% trailing that stops at the initial balance: Max daily loss % = 0, Max total loss % = 6, Max loss type = Trailing on highest equity, Trailing floor stops rising at initial balance = true.
• Daily loss based on the start-of-day balance only: Daily loss measured from = Balance at day start.

IMPORTANT

• The Guardian closes positions at market price. During gaps or very fast moves, the final equity can be slightly below the limit. Keep a safety buffer (0.5% or more).
• Deposits and withdrawals change the reference values. After a deposit or withdrawal, delete the global variables starting with PFG_ (F3) to reset.
• It does not open trades on live accounts. In the Strategy Tester only, it opens demo trades so you can see the protection at work. This can be disabled in the inputs.
• This is a risk-management tool. It does not guarantee that you will pass a challenge.
