NDX100 Intraday Sentinel — NAS100 Day Trading

A long-only intraday breakout system for NAS100 (US Tech 100). It trades only in the first minutes of the session and is always flat by the session close — no overnight exposure, no swap costs, no gap risk on your account.

Strategy highlights

  • Session-defined day trading — one attempt per day, inside a short window after the open; every position is force-closed before the session ends.
  • Five-layer entry confirmation — a Donchian-style regime switch, a daily trend filter, a bearish-bar density filter, a Wilder ADX trend-strength gate and the entry window must all agree before any trade is opened.
  • Hard stop and hard target on every trade, volatility-adaptive — no martingale, no grid, no averaging into losers.
  • Protective exits — a large bearish intraday candle closes the position early; a break of the long-term channel low turns the system OFF.
  • Risk-state memory — the regime switch is rebuilt from history at start-up, so the EA knows the market state even right after a restart.

Risk engineering (the boring parts done right)

  • Three sizing modes: % of account balance, % of a fixed capital base (backtest mode), or fixed lots.
  • Lot size is floored to the broker lot step and clamped to min/max lot and an optional per-trade cap; margin usage per trade is capped.
  • A margin pre-check runs before every order; transient server errors are retried a bounded number of times, everything else is logged, never looped.

Recommended use

  • Symbol: NAS100 / US Tech 100 (works with broker suffixes); chart: M1 or any intraday timeframe — all reference data is higher-timeframe.
  • Set the session close time input to your broker's market end.
  • Minimum capital: about 500 USD at default risk settings (adjust to your broker's contract size and leverage).
