Acronix Counter Trend Scalping EA MT5

Acronix

Acronix is a Counter Trend Scalping Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, focused on EURUSD and GBPUSD.

Developed by Blackore Finance, Acronix combines RSI entry signals, ADX filtering, adaptive trade spacing, and automatic position management. Its multi-currency compatibility extends to major Forex pairs and Gold (XAUUSD), with symbol-specific settings.

Trading Strategy

Acronix looks for short-term price retracements using candle movement and RSI, with an ADX filter to select entry conditions. During an active Counter Trend Scalping cycle, it can add positions as price moves against the latest entry, using configurable spacing and a lot multiplier. ADX-based spacing adapts the distance between subsequent entries from the selected position count.

Take Profit and Stop Loss are included with each new trade. The cycle's shared Take Profit is calculated from the volume-weighted average entry price. A shared, distant broker-side Stop Loss is calculated automatically from entry spacing and updated following additional entries.

Key Features

  • Multi-currency compatible: primarily EURUSD and GBPUSD, plus major Forex pairs and Gold.
  • Dynamic and Fixed Lots: choose balance-based automatic compounding or a fixed starting lot size; subsequent entries follow the configured lot multiplier.
  • Multi-timeframe analysis: configure RSI and ADX timeframes independently.
  • Automatic cycle management: entry evaluation on new candles, with ongoing Take Profit and Stop Loss management.
  • CENT account compatibility: use the broker's supported minimum lot size with suitable account settings.

Account Requirements and Recommended Setup

  • Spread: target an average spread of 20 broker points or less per symbol. Variable spreads are supported; tighter spreads help retain more of each trade's profit. On a five-digit EURUSD quote, 20 points equals 2 pips.
  • Execution: choose an account with low slippage and fast execution speed.
  • Balance: Acronix imposes no minimum balance and can operate at the broker's minimum lot size, with sufficient available margin for the selected settings.
  • Hosting: preferably run on a VPS for continuous operation and a stable broker connection.
  • Account type: standard and CENT accounts are supported. A hedging account supports separate positions within each cycle.

Default parameters are designed for EURUSD on M5. For multi-currency operation, attach Acronix separately to each symbol's chart and use the corresponding settings. Assign a distinct Magic Number to each instance for clear trade identification.

Main Parameters

The inputs are grouped by purpose for straightforward configuration:

  • Magic Number: identifies the instance's trades. Default: 1.
  • Auto-Compounding: switches between Dynamic and Fixed starting lots. Default: On.
  • RSI Timeframe, Period, Buy Level, and Sell Level: configure entry signals. Defaults: M15, 5, 32, and 56.
  • ADX Timeframe, Period, and Threshold: configure the initial entry filter. Defaults: M30, 14, and 25.
  • Step and Multiplier: set base entry spacing and volume scaling for additional Counter Trend Scalping entries. Defaults: 76 points and 1.2.
  • Use ADX after X, Cycle ADX Timeframe, and Cycle ADX Period: configure adaptive spacing. Defaults: 4 existing positions, H1, and 14.
  • Target: sets the Take Profit distance from the cycle's weighted average entry. Default: 58 points.
  • Initial Lot Size: sets the starting volume with Auto-Compounding Off. Default: 0.01 lots.
  • Lot-Scaling Coefficient: controls balance-based sizing with Auto-Compounding On. Default: 0.02; this value is a sizing coefficient.

Price distances use the broker's symbol points. Stop Loss calculation is automatic and based on cycle spacing.
