MACD Turbo with email push and crossover alerts

The MACD Turbo indicator for MT5 allows traders to receive email, push and pop up alerts when the following conditions occur:

  • MACD Main Line crosses over the zero (watermark) line
  • MACD crosses the signal line

Traders have full control over colours and email frequency off alerts - the trader can receive email, on screen pop up and also push based alerts.


Indicator Parameters

  • Display the Histogram - options are true/false - if true the MACD histogram is displayed
  • Histogram Colour - sets the colour of the MACD histogram if it is displayed
  • Histogram Width - sets the width of the histogram bars
  • Signal Line Colour - sets the colour of the signal line
  • Signal Line Width - sets the width of the signal line
  • Signal Line Style - sets the style of the signal line
  • MACD Line Colour - sets the colour of the MACD line
  • MACD Line Width - sets the width of the MACD line
  • MACD Line Style - sets the MACD line style
  • Period for Fast EMA (Default=12) - sets the period of the fast exponential moving average
  • Period for Slow EMA (Default=26) - sets the period of the slow exponential moving average
  • Period for Signal SMA (Default=9) - sets the period of the signal simple moving average
  • Applied price - sets the applied price for the computation
  • Use Pop-Up Alerts - true/false - if set to true the system will produce on screen pop up alerts when signals are generated
  • Use Email Alerts - true/false - if set to true system will send email alerts to specified email address in MT5 options when signals are generated
  • Use Push Alerts - true/false - if set to true system will send push alerts to nominated devices set up for push alert capability in MT5
  • Zero Line Crossover Alerts - true/false - if set to true system will produce alerts when the MACD line crosses over the zero (watermark) line
  • Alert Interval in Seconds - sets the minimum interval between alerts in seconds - the default value is 15
  • Maximum number of alerts allowed before reset - Sets the maximum number of permitted alerts to be generated - alert counter is reset when a new bar is received or when the chart timeframe is changed - default value is 5
  • Alert only on Printed/Physical crossover - true/false - if set to true the system will only produce alerts when a physical crossover takes place - ie the crossover is physical on the chart - if set to false the system will produce 'touch' or momentary crossover signals
  • Suppress Alert Counter Reset Alerts - true/false - if set to true the system will not show on screen notifications when the alert counter is reset (when a new bar/candle starts to form)
