The GridSync Pro EA includes a dashboard that lets you quickly adjust key settings like trading volume, grid distance, steps, TP/SL, and daily profit/loss limits. When first loaded, it reads the traditional EA inputs, but afterward, the dashboard settings take priority (stored in global variables). You can backtest with or without Visual Mode, but I strongly recommend using Visual Mode, it’s slower but lets you see exactly how the EA behaves, making tuning easier. Still optimizing XAUUSD settings. I’ll share more preset files soon!

Just sharing last week's demo test results for GridSync Pro. I tested it on 4 forex pairs and XAUUSD with a daily target and session timer. The EA stops when hitting targets or session end, but continues trying to recover losses if needed. For forex pairs, I used 4 pip initial distance, 3 pip grid steps, 1-2 grids per side, and $0.25 profit per trade. Gold used 2 pip settings. Starting with $50 on June 20, the account reached $264 by June 30 - screenshots show daily progress. The dashboard neatly tracks performance per pair. Remember, these are demo results, I'm mainly checking if the EA works as designed.

You can backtest v1.0 with these settings (I've only visually tested XAUUSD so far). Version 1.1 is being tested with new grid rescue strategies to handle trends better, it manages ranging and trending markets well now, especially helpful for accounts around $500. If you own v1.0, try demo testing to find suitable pairs and settings. Version 1.1 will be even stronger. Message me anytime with questions or issues, I'll help when I can.

Heads up about Hyperactivity: Some brokers may flag your MT4 if your EA sends too many orders or server messages. This can happen if pending orders are frequently deleted and reopened during grid rescues. To avoid issues, use wider grid steps for 24/5 trading, reduce grid density, limit open charts per account, and set daily trade limits. If restrictions kick in, you could lose access without warning! Always test strategies in demo first and monitor server load.

GridSync Pro v1.1

GridSync Pro v1.1 is now available for update. Please test it in demo first before going live. The new version features four organized control buttons (Grid, Trading, Targets, Extra) that group all settings logically. We've added two new grid recovery methods: Symmetrical Lot Balancing and Partial Close Opposite to better manage risk. All input parameters are now neatly categorized to match the dashboard sections for easier setup.

Balancing

In the dashboard, you'll find Balancing and Close Opposite buttons under grid rescue settings. To activate either strategy, set a Minimum orders amount (rescue threshold). For example, setting this to 2 means if two sell orders are running, the next pending sell order's lot size increases by (Rescue Threshold * Lot Multiplier). This helps quickly recover losses through opposite trades. Alternatively, the Partial Close Opposite strategy closes opposite trades to support trend continuation when the threshold is met.

The Extra section now includes time session filters to avoid placing orders during market close/reopen when spreads widen. I'll share set files for backtesting soon, while visual mode takes longer, I recommend it for more accurate results based on my experience testing on 5-minute charts.

The June 2025 Strategy Tester Report shows some interesting results. Using a daily target of $10 and a grid step of 10 pips to control trade frequency, the EA achieved $351 in total profit with a 79% win rate. The maximal drawdown reached $296 during this period. These numbers came from keeping the grid spacing wide enough to avoid over trading while still capturing good opportunities.

The A-2025-2-84% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) shows good results with conservative settings: $10 daily target, $1 profit per trade, and 10 pip grid steps to limit trade frequency. The EA achieved $251 profit with an 84% win rate and a controlled $103 max drawdown. Smaller profit targets + wider grid spacing helped maintain consistency while reducing risk.

The A-2025-3-86% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) reflects results from testing with $1 profit per trade and 10 pip grid steps (no daily target). Under these conditions, the test showed $402 profit, 86% win rate, and $252 max drawdown. Wider grid spacing helped reduce trade frequency, while smaller profit targets may have contributed to the higher win rate. Remember, these are backtesting results for analysis only, actual market performance can vary based on volatility, spreads, and execution.

The A-2025-4-82% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) shows test results using $1 profit per trade with tighter 8 pip grid steps and initial distance. These settings produced $548 profit with an 82% win rate and $221 maximum drawdown in the test environment. The reduced grid spacing appeared to capture more opportunities while maintaining controlled risk parameters.

The A-2025-5-81% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) used $1 profit per trade with $3 take profit/stop loss and tighter 3 pip grid spacing. While showing $1417 profit with 81% win rate, the $1346 drawdown revealed challenges, equity frequently dipped below balance as trades struggled to close profitably during extended periods. Comparing this to the B-2025-5-83% test using identical profit settings but adding grid rescue (threshold 2 + 0.01 lot multiplier) shows interesting differences: though profit decreased to $692 and drawdown rose to $1577, the 83% win rate and equity curve appeared more controlled. The rescue strategy's balancing approach and adaptive lot sizing demonstrated better management of trend continuation scenarios in these test conditions. Remember these are backtesting observations only, actual results may vary with market conditions.

The C-2025-2-92% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) shows test results using $1 profit per trade with $4 take profit/stop loss levels. The configuration included grid rescue (threshold 1 + 0.02 lot multiplier) and divided the trading day into two sessions that cleared all pending orders at session close. These settings produced $537 profit with a 92% win rate and $267 maximum drawdown in the test environment.

The C-2025-3-82% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) was conducted using $3.75 profit per trade with matching $3.75 take profit and stop loss levels. The test incorporated grid rescue settings (threshold 1 with 0.02 lot multiplier) and divided the trading day into two sessions that automatically cleared all pending orders at session changes. These parameters resulted in $500 profit with an 81% win rate and $840 maximum drawdown during the testing period.

The B-2025-6-82% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) was tested with a $0.25 profit per trade target without fixed take profit or stop loss levels. Using tight grid settings (2 pip initial distance, 1 pip step) and operating during full trading hours (1:30-22:00 server time), the configuration included grid rescue (threshold 3 with 0.01 lot multiplier). These parameters showed $1315 profit with 82% win rate and $732 drawdown in testing. The small profit targets appeared effective in this scenario

The B-2025-7-82% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) used a $0.25 profit per trade approach without fixed take profit or stop loss levels. The test configuration featured tighter grid settings with 1 pip initial distance and 1 pip step size, along with an adjusted grid rescue system (threshold 3 with dynamic 0.02 lot multiplier). Running during extended market hours from 1:30 to 22:00 server time, this setup showed $2443 profit with 82% win rate and $1050 drawdown in testing. The results suggest the smaller profit targets combined with tighter grid spacing and dynamic lot adjustment may have contributed to capturing more opportunities

The B-2025-8-80% Strategy Tester Report for XAUUSD (June 2025) was conducted using a $0.50 profit per trade target without fixed take profit or stop loss levels. The test maintained tight 1 pip grid spacing (both initial distance and step) while implementing grid rescue (threshold 3 with 0.02 lot multiplier) during extended trading hours from 1:30 to 22:00 server time. These parameters resulted in $2573 profit with 80% win rate and $1060 maximum drawdown in the testing environment.

I've been running GridSync Pro in the Strategy Tester (visual mode) from January 1st to July 11th, and it's still going strong, more than 24 hours in and not finished yet. This is one of the most impressive tests I've seen so far.

On January 7th, the EA pulled in $770 in a single day with just a 0.01 lot size. That’s the kind of performance that gets me excited. Once the full backtest completes, I’ll share the complete results, profit factor, win rate, drawdown, everything.
