Both long and short positions will be opened simultaneously, and there are independent exit conditions.

I thought the same thing.  I was unable to get Tulips to make profit on the tester.  Breakeven was best i could get.

I have tried various optimisations of the original version of this EA and was starting to get some good results on a demo account.

I upgraded to the latest version yesterday and my optimised setfiles no longer work.

Also it doesn't look like the new version will be able to be optimised as well as the earlier version.
