Hi,
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a momentum oscillator used in technical analysis to determine overbought and oversold conditions. For trading decisions, you can use RSI (14) and RSI (21) with key levels such as 30 (oversold) and 70 (overbought).
Trading Conditions for RSI (14, 21):
Buy Condition:
RSI (14) crosses above 30 (from below) → Possible bullish reversal.
RSI (21) also moves above 30 → Confirms the buy signal.
Additional confirmation:
RSI (14) crosses above RSI (21) (bullish crossover).
Price action shows bullish patterns (higher lows, strong support zone).
Volume increases to confirm momentum.
Sell Condition:
RSI (14) crosses below 70 (from above) → Possible bearish reversal.
RSI (21) also moves below 70 → Confirms the sell signal.
Additional confirmation:
RSI (14) crosses below RSI (21) (bearish crossover).
Price action shows bearish patterns (lower highs, resistance zone).
Volume increases on selling pressure.
