Specification
Project: MT5 Expert Advisor — Dual-Sided Hedging Grid with Fibonacci Lot Progression
I need a custom Expert Advisor (EA) developed in MQL5 for MetaTrader 5.
1. Trading Strategy
The EA must open both Buy and Sell market positions when a new trading cycle starts, provided the broker account supports hedging.
The EA must manage the Buy and Sell directions independently.
When the market moves downward against the Buy grid, open additional Buy positions at the configured pip interval.
When the market moves upward against the Sell grid, open additional Sell positions at the configured pip interval.
The EA must use a configurable grid spacing and take-profit distance.
The EA must not open duplicate positions at the same grid level.
2. Lot Size Progression
The first three lot sizes must be configurable, with the following defaults:
First trade: 0.01 lots
Second trade: 0.02 lots
Third trade: 0.03 lots
Starting with the fourth trade, calculate each new lot size as the sum of the previous two lot sizes.
Example sequence:
0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.05, 0.08, 0.13, 0.21, 0.34, 0.55, 0.89, and so on.
The Buy and Sell directions must each maintain their own independent lot sequence.
All lot sizes must comply with the broker's minimum lot, maximum lot, and volume-step requirements. Add a configurable maximum individual lot size.
3. Grid Entry Logic
Provide an input named GridStepPips.
Example: If GridStepPips is 50, the EA should add a Buy position whenever the market falls by another 50 pips from the previous qualifying Buy grid level. Similarly, it should add a Sell position whenever the market rises by another 50 pips from the previous qualifying Sell grid level.
The EA must track the last qualifying entry level independently for Buy and Sell trades and must not place multiple entries for the same level.
4. Take Profit
Provide an input named TakeProfitPips.
By default, each trade must have an individual take-profit level calculated from its own entry price.
Buy TP: entry price plus the configured TP distance.
Sell TP: entry price minus the configured TP distance.
The EA must allow the TP distance to be changed through the input settings.
Please also provide an optional setting for basket take profit, allowing the user to close all Buy positions, all Sell positions, or all EA positions when a configurable combined profit target is reached. Individual TP and basket TP must be managed separately.
5. Required Inputs
Please include:
InitialLot1 = 0.01
InitialLot2 = 0.02
InitialLot3 = 0.03
GridStepPips
TakeProfitPips
EnableBuy
EnableSell
StartBothDirections
MaxBuyPositions
MaxSellPositions
MaxLotSize
MaxSpreadPips
MaxDrawdownPercent
MagicNumber
EnableBasketTakeProfit
BasketProfitTarget
All settings must be configurable from the EA properties window.
6. Safety and Reliability
Support MT5 hedging accounts.
Calculate pips correctly for symbols with different digits and contract specifications.
Check available margin, spread, lot limits, and trading permissions.
Recover the existing grid state after terminal restart or EA reattachment.
Do not reset the lot sequence while existing positions from that sequence remain open.
Prevent duplicate trades at the same grid level.
Include maximum position and maximum lot limits.
Include equity drawdown protection and an emergency stop option.
Clearly document whether safety limits stop new trades or close existing positions.
Ensure that the EA manages only its own positions using its Magic Number and selected symbol.
Handle order rejection, requotes, connection loss, and other trade errors safely.
7. Testing and Deliverables
Please provide:
Compiled EA file (.ex5).
Editable MQL5 source code (.mq5).
Input parameter documentation.
Installation instructions.
Strategy Tester results and a demonstration of the grid and lot progression.
Testing with realistic spread, commissions, swap, and execution assumptions.
Please confirm the exact grid-entry logic, individual versus basket take-profit behavior, and drawdown-protection behavior before final delivery.
The EA must be tested on a demo account before live deployment.
1. When should the first Buy and Sell trades open?
Open both immediately when the EA starts
2. How should profits be taken?
Close all buy trades together at a combined profit target.
Same Close all buy trades together at a combined profit target.
What should happen after a trade or grid closes?
Start a fresh cycle with 0.01, 0.02, 0.03 lots.

BUDGET: 100-120 USD - FIXED - includes source code .mq5 + .ex5 I will test demo first on 100$ demo account. If good, I pay. WHAT I WANT: 1. SIGNAL STRENGTH LOGIC: - WEAK SIGNAL = 1 position only. - STRONG SIGNAL = 2,3,4,5 positions (more positions because signal is strong). - Signal strength calculated by indicators. 2. ADAPTIVE TO CAPITAL: - Lot auto = Balance / 100 * 0.01. Example 100$ = 0.01 lot, 300$ = 0.03 lot

News trading made simple
30+ USD
Hello lovies, I’m reaching out because I’m working on a specialized macroeconomic intelligence service focused on major economic releases and their potential impact on gold (XAUUSD), the US dollar, and the wider financial markets. My approach goes beyond simply following the economic calendar. I focus on understanding the information behind upcoming events, market expectations, and the potential implications for
Platform: MT5 only (no MT4 needed). Deliverable: an MT5 Expert Advisor with full source code (.mq5) that replicates the attached TradingView strategy (Pine Script v6, based on LuxAlgo's "ICT Killzones Toolkit" order blocks) as exactly as possible. Pasting the code into TradingView shows how it operates. I normally trade GBPUSD on the 5-minute chart Expected behavior: - Order block detection must match the Pine code
Requirements Specification: Debug & Error Fixing: Review the entire source code of the MQL expert advisor. Identify and fix all logical errors, bugs, and performance issues that cause trades to close prematurely or yield extremely low profits. Strategy Restructuring & Optimization: Fully analyze and optimize the current entry and exit strategy for USDJPY and GBPUSD. Modify, upgrade, or completely rewrite the entry
Independent MQL5 Code Audit for an Existing MT5 EA
100 - 200 USD
I am looking for an MQL5 developer to independently review an existing EA’s execution and position management logic. The review should focus on duplicate orders, trade isolation by symbol and magic number, broker price and volume constraints, error handling, and recovery after a terminal restart. This order is for an audit report. Please do not modify the source or change the trading strategy. For each finding
I have an existing compiled MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor (EX5) designed for automated XAUUSD scalping. I want an experienced developer to assess and implement a solution to execute the EA’s original trading strategy through my broker’s FIX API. Requirements: Confirm the technical feasibility of connecting an existing MT5 EA to a broker FIX API. Explain how to obtain FIX API access and credentials from the broker
I’m looking for an experienced developer to build a fully automated XAUUSD scalping EA for MT5. Requirements: * Fast entries targeting small, profitable moves after trading costs. * Configurable fixed-target and trailing-stop modes. A $1 gold price move can trigger profit protection instead of closing the trade. * Once the profit trigger is reached, move the stop to cover costs and lock in a small net profit, then
