Specification
I am developing an educational and simulated trading app for beginners.
It is not a signal service, not a real-money trading system, and it does not promise profits. The goal is to help users understand the trading process step by step: market scenario, risk, pending orders, trigger, opening, closing, slippage protection and closure reasons.
I am looking for an experienced MT4/MQL4 developer or trading systems developer to review the technical and operational logic of the project.
The current system includes:
- MT4/MQL4 price feed through an Expert Advisor
- Node.js backend
- simulated pending orders and positions
- risk rules
- trigger logic
- slippage / abnormal price movement protection
- automatic opening and closing logic
- educational explanations for the user
What I need first:
1. Review if the pending / trigger / order opening logic is technically and operationally coherent.
2. Review if the slippage protection is reasonable and should remain exceptional, not too aggressive.
3. Review if the risk and closing logic are structured safely for a simulated educational app.
4. Identify possible weak points or dangerous assumptions.
5. Suggest improvements without rewriting the whole project.
Important:
I do not want to share the full source code immediately. I would like to start with a limited review / consultation and share only the relevant files or logic parts after agreement.
The project uses MT4/MQL4 plus a Node.js backend, so experience with both trading systems and external integrations is preferred.
