I am looking for someone to code a sine wave indicator for me. ( I do NOT want an EA at this time. Maybe later.) I would like for it to be overlaid on the chart, not in a separate window. You will need to be familiar with some trigonometry as well. Also, I need the sine wave to continue into the future for "predictive trading." I have been generating a sine wave manually, putting the wave over the chart, and then deciding if I want to place a trade or not. Updated description 2/18/2015:
I want these waves based on price in the charted area.
Formula: f(x)= a*sin(2pi/k*(x-h))+b where,
a=amplitude (max-min/2)
k=period (number of bars in a a full wave)
h=horizontal shift
b=vertical shift
I add up to 3 of these together to make waves in side of waves. I will attach 3 files to demonstrate. Formula used to plot the wave is shown on the bottom of the attached pictures. (Images: Sine 1, Sine 2, Sine 3)
