Hello,
I’m looking for a skilled MQL5 developer to build a custom MT5 Expert Advisor (EA) with the following functionalities:
(I'm still a beginner in futures trading)
Core Features
1. Trade Entry
- When the TradingView alert signal (buy/sell) is received, the EA should automatically execute the entry without manual confirmation.
- Manual entry should also be available as an option.
- Users should be able to define specific start and end times for automated trading.
This setting should be optional and fully customizable (e.g., only trade between 09:00 and 16:00 platform/server time).
- Initial lot size must be configurable (e.g., 0.1, 0.2 lot, etc.).
- Entry signals are received from TradingView alerts (buy/sell).
- Indicator, timeframe (1m, 3m, 5m, 30m, 1h), and symbol (e.g., NQ1!) must be selectable.
2. Trailing Stop and Profit Management
- After a specified number of profitable ticks, a trailing stop should activate.
- The trigger tick count and trail logic must be adjustable. The starting point (trigger) for the trailing stop must be configurable (e.g., after 100 ticks).
- Profit-based exit using drawdown percentage:
Exit the position if profit drops more than a set percentage from the peak (e.g., exit if it drops 30% from max profit).
Configurable in steps like 5%, 10%, 15%, … up to 60%.
3. Signal Reversal Handling
- If the opposite signal appears during a profitable trade, close the current trade and re-enter in the opposite direction with the initial lot size.
- If the opposite signal appears during a losing trade, close and re-enter in the opposite direction with increased lot size, following a configurable sequence:
For example:
- 2nd trade: 0.2 lot
- 3rd trade: 0.4 lot
- 4th trade: 0.8 lot
- 5th trade: 1.6 lot
Each step’s lot size should be user-configurable.
4. Daily Profit/Loss Limit
- The EA should stop trading for the day if daily profit or loss target is reached.
- Both values must be configurable (e.g., $100 ~ $2000).
Important Notes
- TradingView alert integration will likely require a bridge (e.g., webhook receiver or local app) to communicate between TradingView and MT5.
- If you can provide this as part of the package (e.g., Python or Node.js bridge), please mention that in your proposal.
