Hi,
I have a tool (MT4 EA) which is supposed to prevent active opened position, which came to the profit for the first time ever since being opened, that it does not go back to loss anymore due to the assumption that it will not come to profit again for the second time. So the tool is (should) auto close position, with closure reattempts if not successfully closed on first attempt, the very last moment ( * ) before it goes from profit (whatever is above 0.00) back to loss (whatever is below 0.00). At the top of that, tool is/should take care that position is NOT closed in a loss.
( * ) the reason for very last moment, instead of sooner, is to maximize possibilities of continuing in profit.
According to original project description, which I can send to you on request (the text based description of the initial project), the tool works well but there are many situations where the movements of profit values, either raising and/or falling, are out of the scope of the main description. Both me and my original developer are out of ideas what else could be done here to improve it to reach the goal.
