Specification
Basic strategy is to win 20 pips per trade. Based on 15m charts and commences on the 8:15-8:30am candle for the selected session (London or NY - though all are described in his book):
- Control candle is the 8:15 am - open/close
- Signal candle is the first subsequent candle where the price action is completely outside of the body of the control candle
- Entry is in direction of signal as follows:
- - if signal open/close below body of control - Sell
- - if signal open/close above body of control - Buy
- - price has move 3 pips in direct of trade
- Other conditions required:
- MACD trending in direction of signal
- Price above 60 SMA if buy
- Price below 60 SMA if sell
- Price above 21 EMA if buy
- Price below 21 EMA if sell
- Control body must be less than 28 pips price movement
- Control body must be more than 1 pip price movement
- No doji (<= 1 pip body) between control and entry
- No candle > 28 pips body between control and entry
- SL 20 pips from control candle
Don't trade on NFP or bank holiday
