Are signal subscription renewal done automatically?

Or do I need to do it manually?

 Will they email me to remind me that I would need to top up and do it manually?

 

Or can they auto-deduct from paypal? or credit card?

No, you will need to do it manually. And no, you won't get an email reminder

You can change properties of copying for the existing subscription directly in the terminal options without any fees.
