Hi MetraTrader team,
I use MT4, a legacy 32 bit XP application, to optimize multi-variable multi-currency multi-indicator multi-algorythm EAs. In a desperate attempt to cut the processing time down, I just got a very powerful 64 bit 12GB I7 machine, but...as you already know it did not do the trick because MT4 is a single CPU, single thread code.
I have come across ASPEED Run-time (www.aspeed.com and http://www.aspeed.com/WCCSDemo/Scenario1.wmv ) which apparently could just wrap the application and use all the cores and system memory. This would be just what I was looking for, but maybe it still has to be recompiled together with ASPEED.
I would appreciate your feedback on this issue and possibility, specially as you plan to release MT5 anytime now.
