Hi,
I have an account with IBFX and Alpari. I am running backtests on MT4 platforms from both provider. When I download historical data, the data comes from MetaQuotes.
During backtesting, I need to enter GMT time offset to have more accurate results. Entering various offsets lead to differing results.
The historical data from MetaQuotes are time stamped, so I would like to know if the data has an offset from GMT and what is the offset?
