MT5 Crash in my renting Dedicated Server

Hello technical team,

Im facing issue that could not open MT5, tried uninstall and reinstall many times. When i open MT5, it appeared in TaskManager just for a second and be closed immediately.

I found error in the crash log file, please see my attach log file:

This is my server specifications:

Dedicated Servers - AMD Ryzen 7950X 

Datacenter Location: Tokyo, Japan

RAM: 64 GB RAM

Storage - 1 TB NVMe 

Bandwidth: 1 Gbps Speed, 20 TB Monthly Bandwidth

IPv4 IP Addresses: /30 IP Range (1 Usable IP)

Firewall: NONE 

Operating System: Windows Server 2022 Standard

Control Panel: 

Database Software:

IPMI/KVM: Free IPMI KVM Console 

DDoS Protection: Full Shield - Volumetric + L4 protocol-based attacks

Server Management: Unmanaged 


Please help to resolve this issue as soon as please.

I have no idea about your dedicated server ... I know that it should be 64-bit system 9MT5 is working on 64-bit OS only).

As to Metatrader 5 so I know that build 4755 is the stable build (release build), but beta build 5061 may be crashed, and the latest beta build 5062 (latest but beta) is more stable one.

So, it also depends on which build of MT5 you are using (I am still using build 4755, but I already installed the beta build 5062 on the other computer for teesting it)

So, it also depends on which build of MT5 you are using (I am still using build 4755, but I already installed the beta build 5062 on the other computer for teesting it)

This is the latest stable/released build and it should be proposed by the brokers. But several people reported that some brokers are proposing the beat builds instead ...

Anyway, -

  • you can wait for the next release date - it may be tomorrow or during this weekend;
    or
  • use/download/install the latest beta build 5062 and update the stable/released build after that (tomorrow for example) - because the latest beta build 5062 should not be crashed ... it means: if you have build 5062 and it is crashed so it is crashed for some other reason (for your dedicated server OS for example) - because build 5062 is not crashed by itself;
    or
  • ask your broker to provide you with 4755 build.

thanks anyway, I have just found another solution and it works now. it will not work by installer of MT5, I need to copy the MT5 folder from my personal PC to the server. Dont know why it happened to my server.

Which build of MT5 are you having (in your personal PC which you copied to the server)?

that is 4755 build. I have tried many times to install by installer 4755 build, but not works in renting server. And finally, It have worked when I copy folder from my PC to server.

Yes, because this 4755 is the latest stable build (but if you install from here so you will get beta build ...).

Suggestion.

But please note that new release version (new stable build) may be proposed soon (up to Monday for example), and this next release will be more compatible with beta 5062 (compare with build 4755) - you will see it in case you are using the Storage in MetaEditor for example.

So, I am suggesting to you to test the beta build 5062 (in case you are having the next/3rd computer for example) - but do not install beta build MT5 together with build 4755 on one/same computer (use different computer for that).
