Market watch symbols when migrating to vps

My question is does the base currency of an account require corresponding symbols to be enabled in market watch?

For context. My ea runs on the eurusd pair. It uses the OrderCalcMargin function. I noticed it was unable to trade without both the eurgbp and gbpusd pair also present in the market watch. I put this down to that function needing the exchange rates of those pairs for buys and sells.

I've since removed the OrderCalcMargin function in an effort to cut down on market watch symbols, reduce the amount of unnecessary ticks being processed and ultimately improve efficiency of the EA (it's a scalper)

I can wait and see if it trades next week with just the eurusd pair in market watch but if anyone knows for sure whether it will or won't trade please let me know.

Just for clarification the OrderCalcMargin function has been removed.
